The 5-foot tall x 14-foot wide backdrop includes two scenes: Space Station Inside + Outside. What a blast to be an astronaut working on experiments in space and viewing the earth from a new perspective.
APP
The interactive app's "Explore and Learn" section contains informative content about the International Space Station, gravity, and all the different planets. Make a movie and simulate weightlessness!
CURRICULUM
Play, skit, and lessons explore international cooperation with different countries, geography, and languages. Kids will have fun creating a flip book illustrating the different phases of the moon.

More About the Backdrop
The 5-piece two-sided backdrop is 5-foot tall x 14-foot wide and attaches to an adjustable frame (sold separately). The panels, constructed of flexible canvas-like material, are easy to roll up and store in a tube. The lightweight frame is very simple to position in almost any configuration and then folds away neatly when not in use.

Space Station App
The app is used in conjunction with the panoramic SPACE STATION backdrop and inspires questions about weightlessness and space travel. Classrooms equipped with tablets enable students to place barcode labels on each backdrop, scan them, and engage with:

Two-Act Play
"The Untrue Adventures of Major Tom" is a lively exploration of science and space that will inspire students to ask questions about outer space, space flight, foreign languages, and international cooperation.
Skit
The skit is a shorter version of the two-act play and requires only 3 actors. This option is perfect for smaller classes or for occasions when time is limited.
Lessons
Four separate lessons cover vocabulary, writing, earth an space science, geography, language arts, and reading. National Standards include NS.K-4.4 Earth and Space Science and NS.4.4 The interpretation of geographic representations.
