Play, skit, and lessons examine creating a reporter’s timeline, understanding time zones around the world and how to conduct surveys.

Introduction

The Super Jimmy Show begins with excited audience members standing in line outside of a TV studio as they wait for their favorite show to begin. When an older boy attempts to bully a younger kid into buying him an ice cream, Super Jimmy appears and intervenes to break up the fight. Later, inside the studio, the local news team covers Super Jimmy at another successful intervention, interviews the participants and witnesses and with Super Jimmy investigates the causes of bullying, exploring various strategies and solutions for conflict resolution.

Two Act Play

Script for 20 actors
The characters are waiting among the people printed on the backdrop. They have been waiting for over an hour. MRS WATERS with her sons RICK and ARCHIE stand near the front of the line. A few people back stands MR. TEATHERS and his 5 year-old child, PAT. AUNT LOUISE and UNCLE MARCUS are standing behind them. At first they all are frozen in their places until they speak the first time.

Waiting in line outside the television studio. The characters are waiting among the people printed on the backdrop. They have been waiting for over an hour. RICK and ARCHIE stand near the front of the line. A few people back stands MR. TEATHERS and his 5 year-old child, PAT. At first they all are frozen in their places until they speak the first time. Pat runs over to the ICE CREAM SELLER. ARCHIE and RICK also run over to ICE CREAM SELLER.
