Two-sided Backdrop
The 5-foot tall x 14-foot wide backdrop includes two scenes: Native Americans + Cowboys. Kids can pretend they are living on the expansive Great Plains region during the 1800s.
APP
The interactive app includes a Q&A section covering teepees, Warbonnets, buffaloes, and cowboy gear. The "Make Noise" section lets you listen to sounds of life on the prairie.
CURRICULUM
Play, skit, and lessons explore the history of the Old West. Students can't help but laugh out loud as they perform the delightful play, "Two Tales, One Moon," and learn about the oral tradition of telling tall tales.

More About the Backdrop
The 5-piece two-sided backdrop is 5-foot tall x 14-foot wide and attaches to an adjustable frame (sold separately). The panels, constructed of flexible canvas-like material, are easy to roll up and store in a tube. The lightweight frame is very simple to position in almost any configuration and then folds away neatly when not in use.

The app is used in conjunction with the panoramic OLD WEST backdrop and encourages students to imagine life during the olden days. Classrooms equipped with tablets enable students to place barcode labels on each backdrop, scan them, and engage with:

Transform your Walk-in Storybook into a full-fledged stage set with the addition of this engaging curriculum. Kids will clamor to become characters in the two-act play while the theme-related lessons and creative play suggestions provide teachers with educational content that makes learning fun.
Two-Act Play
"Two Tales – One Moon" explores the oral tradition of tall tales in the American West. Two families, a cowboy family and a Native American family, share fantastic stories around the campfire.
Skit
The skit is a shorter version of the two-act play and requires only 4 actors. This option is perfect for smaller classes or for occasions when time is limited.
Lessons
Four separate lessons cover vocabulary, writing, Spanish language, reading, mathematics, and social studies. National Standards include NL-ENG.K-12.9 Multicultural Understanding, and NL-ENG.K-12.12 Applying Language Skills.
